DAS (Direct-Attached Storage) - A computer storage which is directly connected to a computer or server. It often provides a RAID system which secures the stored data. 

NAS (Network-Attached Storage) - The same as DAS but connected to a Network through IP. It also features RAID security systems. 

SAN (Storage Area Network) - A Multiserver which connects several networks in their storage and servers. Also assures data security.

NAS box - Supports hard drives but does not feature lacks monitor and keyboard

Fibre Channel (FC) - the standard connection type for SAN's. Altough it's called "fibre channel" it also runs with twisted pair cables

1. Most user's computers and most servers have Direct-Attached Storages (DAS). (f)

8. A SAN consists, of a communication infrastructure, which provides physical connections, but does not comprise a managament layer, which organizes the connection. (t)

9. Fibre Channel signaling can only run over fiber optic cables. (f)
